Dvd recorders

Argos have a big choice of dvd players and recorders at very competitive prices. It was not so long ago that dvd recording equipment cost a small fortune, but as technology advances, the prices start to come down. Dvd recorders allow you to record your favourite programs and films to a small dvd disc, and then you can do whatever you want with it, such as dvd copying by switching the information on one disc to another.

Dvd players are the norm these days, and the days of bulky video recorders have long since gone. Dvd players and recorders allow you to store much more information, which means you can store more of your own films and tv shows, and the re-writable dvd discs allow you to copy over previously recorded stuff in an instant. You can easily just have one single disc and keep using it to record everything.

If you feel a bit more inventive you can hook up your dvd recorder with a computer for some dvd duplication, and transfer from one dvd to another, this is a good way to keep a back up, or use it to build up your own dvd collection, just beware of any copyright infringement.

Argos have a vast array of this type of equipment at very low prices, and there are always discounted dvd players at low prices if you do enough searching in the catalogue. The most modern dvd recorders now have built in hard disks that do away with the need for individual disks, and you can store a whole load of things depending on the memory of the dvd. The larger the hard disk space the more you pay, but if you are a keen film and tv watcher then you may very well need all the disk space you can get. Look out for hard disk capabilites before you buy as the latest models all have larger storage space, and a new model comes out virtually every week, as the technology moves ahead.
